First of all, i don’t know where that guy got his ‘SEAL’ workout, but except for the exercises involved, its nothing like what they do at BUDs or in the teams.

If you want to get in shape and improve your body appearance, set up a workout routine. Running and swimming, mixing up long steady distance training with some short interval work, workouts should be 30-45 minutes in length with 10 minutes stretching/warmup down before and after. PT consisting of pushups, situps, crunches, leg lifts, pull ups, 8 count body builders, etc. Start with what you can do, and slowing build up to a half hour of constant exertion, agian making sure to stretch.

A better idea is to join a sport – track, swimming, etc. Use the knowledge and experience of the coach to maximize your potential and attain your goals faster than working alone.

You would probably get in shape but that is whimpy compared to what my boyfriend did while training for navy dive school which is easier than training to be a seal. He was in the gym an hour a day at least and in the pool an hour a day.

I don’t know much about it, but it looks like it would do both. It might not make you look “buff” but you might look a little better. I think the whole run at 8:30 pace is crap though. For some people, 8:30 is a breeze but other people are killing themselves to go that speed. I recommend running at a speed that will get your heart rate up (about medium speed). I noticed a pill thing at the bottom that says will help you gain muscle which is also full of crap and likely won’t work. I noticed 2 things totally wrong with that site, but there might be more that I didn’t see. Also, my friend’s dad actually WAS a navy seal and the stuff he described was 1000 times more brutal than that consisting of 2-5 hours of swimming, about a thousand sit-ups and hundreds of push ups.

I and many of my friends are considered buff and were on a swim team. Part of the look is in what you eat and no magic workout will suddenly make you look muscular. You should probably join swimming, soccer, track, water polo, or any type of martial arts to get ore fit.
